01 / THE BUYING QUESTION
Which feature establishes location, and which holes or slots allow the assembly to be secured or adjusted?
02 / READ THE GEOMETRY
Details that shape
the requirement.
Central bore
Specify whether the bore locates, clears or supports the mating component. Define its relationship to the mounting face and identify the useful engagement region.
Mounting-hole pattern
Locate the fixed holes from the assembly references. Include fastener information, head clearance and the face or shoulder against which the assembly is secured.
Curved slots
Explain the required adjustment or access function in your design. Show the slot path, width, end conditions and the mating fastener or component moving within it.
FROM GEOMETRY TO THE WORKSHOP
See the manufacturing context.
Explore a Chengshuo workshop scene alongside the features in this product study. This is general process footage, not footage of the reference part or its inspection results.
Milling, workholding and tool access
Machine-interior views show the spindle, cutting tool and held components.
How will tool access, clamping references and secondary features be defined?
Pocketed positioning blocksONE PART. THREE BUYING DECISIONS.
What matters
to your team?
Define the functional interfaces.
Separate the function of the fixed holes from the curved slots. State whether adjustment is needed during assembly, setup or service.
Discuss your engineering requirementsMake the quotation comparable.
Confirm the quoted finish, inspection and any trial hardware. Compare offers using the same bore and slot requirements rather than the outline alone.
Discuss your purchasing requirementsAgree the acceptance evidence.
Use the agreed reference scheme across bore, holes and slots. Record actual slot geometry separately from observations of an adjustment trial.
Discuss your quality requirements03 / A PART-SPECIFIC REVIEW
From feature
to machining brief.
01Define fixed and adjustable references
Provide an assembly view showing the installed position and any permitted adjustment. Identify the feature that remains the location reference while other interfaces are positioned or tightened.
02Review manufacturing and final condition
Specify aluminum grade, finish and critical relationships. Discuss the bore, hole pattern and slots together so the proposed manufacturing and inspection route addresses the same functional references.
03Agree the sample decision
Choose dimensions and geometric relationships for the report. If movement or adjustment is part of acceptance, define the mating hardware and setup for that check before reviewing samples.
04 / BEFORE SAMPLE APPROVAL
Agree what
acceptance will show.
Measure the specified bore and its relationship to the mounting references.
Verify fixed-hole and curved-slot geometry against the approved drawing.
Record any agreed adjustment check with the nominated hardware and setup.
