Nickel-plated brass wiring clip terminal

A rectangular brass terminal body with a wire opening and a threaded hole. The CS2023033 reference uses nickel plating. Start a custom enquiry with the conductor space, clamping arrangement and finished-part drawing so the mechanical interface and coating can be reviewed together.

Define the conductor space and clamping arrangement

Show the wire-entry opening in a section view and identify the direction in which the clamping element acts. Include the conductor size or assembly envelope, the required insertion space and any surrounding insulation or housing. If a screw, pressure plate or other mating item is part of your assembly, identify it on the drawing and state whether it belongs in the supply scope.

The rectangular opening and threaded hole give the buyer two separate interfaces to specify. Dimension the opening from clear datums and identify which edges contact or guide the conductor. State the permitted edge condition around the opening. Use an assembly view where the relationship to neighbouring parts cannot be understood from the component drawing alone.

Specify the thread and the plated condition

Give the thread designation, tolerance class, engagement requirement and applicable drawing standard. State whether thread acceptance applies before or after plating. Identify any surfaces that must be masked and clarify how the coating requirement applies inside the opening and threaded feature. Record these choices in the same controlled drawing set.

The source model is brass with nickel plating. For a new order, identify the required brass grade and nickel specification rather than relying on the reference name. Include coating thickness and any required inspection records in your enquiry when they are part of the design requirement. Agree the acceptance method for the finished component before approving a sample.

Keep the component and electrical validation scopes clear

Use this part as a mechanical terminal-body reference when planning a custom wiring connection. Describe the intended conductor, mating components and environment in the RFQ. Set current, voltage, temperature-rise, contact-resistance or other electrical acceptance criteria through the assembly design and the applicable project requirements.

List any assembly or electrical testing as a separate requested deliverable, with test conditions, acceptance criteria and responsibility. Distinguish a plated terminal body from a complete connector assembly. This keeps the machining quotation, coating scope and system validation work aligned without silently including unagreed components or tests.

Prepare a quotation that can be compared

Send the current drawing revision, units, material grade and coating specification together. Separate sample quantities from planned repeat-order quantities. Identify the features that need dimensional records, the finished-thread acceptance method and the packaging requirements for plated surfaces.

Ask each quotation to list the same scope: terminal body, mating hardware if requested, surface treatment, inspection records, sample approval and delivery conditions. Resolve alternative materials, coating changes and method questions before release. Keep the approved sample identity and drawing revision with the repeat-order record.

Questions before your enquiry

What material and finish identify CS2023033?

The official Chengshuo product reference identifies a brass-alloy wiring clip terminal with nickel plating. Specify the exact alloy grade and coating requirements for your new drawing-based order.

What should the terminal drawing include?

Include the outer envelope, wire opening, thread designation, datums, edge requirements and finished-part acceptance requirements. An assembly view should show the conductor path and mating clamping parts.

How should I specify thread acceptance after plating?

Identify the thread standard and tolerance, the required engagement and whether acceptance is before or after coating. Agree masking and the finished-thread inspection method as part of the quotation.

Can the enquiry include electrical tests?

State the requested tests separately, including the assembly, test conditions, acceptance criteria and responsible party. Confirm that scope before sample approval.

What quantities should I send?

Separate the sample quantity, first production lot and expected repeat-order quantities. Include delivery calls and packaging requirements so quotations use the same purchasing basis.

Which information should accompany a repeat order?

Reference the approved drawing revision, material and coating specification, sample approval and required records. Mark any change to the conductor, mating part or surface treatment for review.
